│ TUTORIAL: Work breakdown and PERT │
└────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
In this lesson you:
■ create a basic ~outline~2, called the Work
breakdown outline, for your project
■ create a basic ~structure~2, called the Work
breakdown structure, for your project
■ see how Harvard Project Manager 3.0
converts the Work breakdown information
to a PERT chart

HPM 3.0 offers a number of different ways
to create and manage projects. One common
method is called the Work breakdown. You
break a project down into its parts.
Planning for the Expo involves three major
parts, each made up of several tasks:
■ Booth -- plan, build, pack, ship, and
set up
■ Staff -- recruit and train
■ Materials -- order, pack, and ship
